.NET developer - logistic software

As a Backend Engineer, you will work at the heart of logistics software solutions. You will design, develop and maintain scalable backend architectures in C#/.NET, with a focus on reliability, performance and integrations with external systems. 

Your responsibilities

• Designing, developing and maintaining backend applications in C#/.NET
• Building robust and scalable systems for WMS, MES and/or WCS environments
• Implementing integrations with external systems, PLCs, machines and other logistics software
• Collaborating with frontend developers and other teams to realise complete solutions 
• Optimising applications in terms of performance, stability and scalability
• Actively contributing to the entire software development lifecycle: from analysis and design to implementation and maintenance
• Contributing ideas about architecture, best practices and technical improvements
• Staying up to date with technological developments in backend and logistics automation

Your profile

• You have a higher degree in IT or equivalent experience
• You have initial experience as a backend developer C# and ideally within logistics systems: WMS/MES/WCS
• Experience with databases (e.g. SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and writing efficient queries.
• Knowledge of API development (REST, possibly messaging or event-driven architectures)
• You work in a structured manner, think analytically and have an eye for quality and performance
• You have good communication skills and enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams
• You have a good command of Dutch and English
