Who are we looking for?

At Vintecc, we are looking for a driven project engineer - data & AI to strengthen our dynamic IoT and Data Analytics team.

Your role

As a project engineer - data & AI, you bring valuable insights from data to the table. You contribute to improving operational efficiency, minimising downtime and maximising the value of data for our customers.

You will be part of a young, technically strong team within an innovative and fast-growing SME. Your duties will include

1. Data analysis and insight generation: You dive deep into the data to discover opportunities for improvement and find potential applications. Your focus is on discovering value in data through advanced analytics. One of your tasks is to implement the algorithms in a robust manner using a generic approach. Your focus is therefore also on deployment, not just theory.
2. Process optimisation: Once you have identified valuable insights, you will work on optimising existing processes. You will develop and implement strategies to make suboptimal processes more effective using advanced techniques such as machine learning.
3. Predictive maintenance and fault detection: You apply machine learning techniques to develop models that can automatically detect and predict faults. This involves modelling time series data to identify potential problems and take proactive measures.
4. Software development and application design: You have an affinity for software development, especially for industrial applications. You design robust and future-proof applications that integrate seamlessly with data analysis and machine learning.
5. Growth mindset: You play an active role in shaping the growing Data Analytics team. This includes defining standards, identifying new technologies and sharing best practices within the team.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a degree in IT or equivalent experience in a cloud/infrastructure role.
• You have professional experience with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Terraform and Azure. 
• You are comfortable with automation and scripting.
• You work accurately and proactively in monitoring and optimisation.
• You are a strong communicator who works well with different teams.
• You speak/write fluent Dutch and English; any other language is a plus.
