support engineer

As part of the Operations team, you will provide first-line support to customers via our ticketing system. You will also help maintain documentation and support customers with questions and training on the basic use of the Capture platform. 

Capture is a platform that enables industrial companies to collect, manage and visualise operational data. With Capture, our customers can build powerful applications, gain insights, streamline processes and accelerate their digital transformation. 

What will your days look like?

  • You start your day by checking whether there are any outstanding customer tickets or issues and follow up on them.
  • A new ticket comes in about a problem with a particular service. You check the platform statuses and review the logs for anything suspicious.
  • After finding a specific error log, you draw up an incident report and escalate it to the appropriate developer. 
  • You keep the customer informed of the status of their tickets.
  • In the meantime, you summarise frequently asked questions and see if we can improve the documentation based on these questions.
  • In the afternoon, you give a new customer training on how to use the basic functions of Capture using a demo company.

Who are we looking for?

  • You have a degree in IT or equivalent experience in a support role.
  • You are spontaneous, communicative and articulate on the telephone.
  • You are good at prioritising and remain calm under pressure.
  • You are hands-on, proactive and eager to learn. 
  • You attach great importance to accurate administration and work meticulously.
  • You speak/write fluent Dutch and English; any other language is a plus.
