One of the company’s most innovative solutions is the Stow Atlas, a semi-automatic pallet shuttle for deep lane storage and retrieval. Guided by Vintecc, Stow’s R&D team ventured into model-based design to create the third generation of the Atlas: a feature-packed iteration poised to stand the test of time.
Sensortechnologie bij ArcelorMittal Gent
ArcelorMittal is een wereldwijde staalgroep waar innovatie altijd voorop staat. Om de algemene efficiëntie te verbeteren, wilde de Belgische productiesite, ArcelorMittal Gent, zijn ‘plaatdragers’ automatiseren. Er werden enorme voertuigen ontworpen, de ‘steel slab carriers’, om staalplaten te vervoeren van gemiddeld 22 ton, voor een totaal van 150 ton per transport. De ervaring van Vintecc op vlak van sensortechnologie, technische knowhow en flexibele service bleek een drijvende kracht achter het project.
