Poppies, gevestigd in Zonnebeke (Ieper), is een wereldwijd bedrijf dat gespecialiseerd is in de productie van kwaliteitsvolle snacks en desserts voor fijnproevers. Een constante hoge kwaliteit van de output is van essentieel belang voor het bedrijf.
ArcelorMittal is een wereldwijde staalgroep waar innovatie altijd voorop staat. Om de algemene efficiëntie te verbeteren, wilde de Belgische productiesite, ArcelorMittal Gent, zijn ‘plaatdragers’ automatiseren. Er werden enorme voertuigen ontworpen, de ‘steel slab carriers’, om staalplaten te vervoeren van gemiddeld 22 ton, voor een totaal van 150 ton per transport. De ervaring van Vintecc op vlak van sensortechnologie, technische knowhow en flexibele service bleek een drijvende kracht achter het project.
