IIoT engineer
Do you want to help build smart, connected solutions in a hands-on environment and have a broad field of interest in industrial technology?
Then you might be the IIoT Engineer we are looking for!
Your role
As an IIoT Engineer, you will become a key figure in the development and implementation of our Capture cloud solution at industrial customers. You will provide the link between IT and OT, bring data to life through visualisations and help build customised solutions for customers.
Your responsibilities
- Integration on the Capture Platform
You will connect industrial systems to our cloud platform. You make data from the operational environment available for analysis and visualisation.
- Connectivity and data exchange
You will build reliable interfaces and ensure robust data flow between machines and the cloud. Think industrial protocols, IoT devices, edge computing and connectivity solutions.
- Developing visualisations
You build dashboards and reports in tools such as Grafana or PowerBI - clear, user-friendly and tailored to the client's needs.
- Delivering tailor-made solutions
You will think along with the customer and work on technical solutions that perfectly fit their environment and objectives.
- Working autonomously & building customer relationships
After your induction, you will start working independently, both in the office and at the customer's premises. You will become a trusted contact who thinks along and creates value.
What do we expect from you?
You don't have to be able to do everything - motivation, learning ability and commitment are just as important to us as experience. However, it is useful if you bring the following:
- A higher degree in electronics and/or ICT or a similar field.
- Several years of experience in a technical or industrial environment.
- Strong affinity with software development in, for example, C# and/or Python.
- Knowledge of industrial protocols and communication standards
- Knowledge and/or experience with tools such as Docker, TimescaleDB or InfluxDB
These words describe you as a person: solution-oriented, analytical, customer-focused, hands-on and curious.
