IIoT Engineer

At Vintecc, we are looking for a driven IIoT Engineer to join our dynamic IoT and Data Analytics team.

Your role

As an IoT Engineer, you will be responsible for integrating customers on the Capture cloud platform. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing the bridge between IT and OT for customers in industrial environments.

In addition, your role includes developing visualisations in platforms such as Grafana and PowerBI and delivering customised solutions to our customers. After an introductory period, you will work independently, both at our offices and customer sites.

Your responsibilities

1. Integrating Customers on the Capture Cloud Platform: Develop and implement the bridge between IT and OT to seamlessly integrate customers on the Capture cloud platform.
Play a key role in developing and implementing solutions for industrial environments.
2. Development of Visualisations:
Design and develop visualisations in platforms such as Grafana and PowerBI to present and analyse data.
3. Bespoke Solutions:
Work on developing customised solutions that meet customers' specific needs.
4. Working Independently and Building Customer Relationships: After an introductory period, take on tasks independently, both in the office and at client sites. Build trusting relationships with customers and help them make effective use of the implemented IoT frameworks.
5. Connectivity and Data Exchange: Build interfaces with PLCs, machine sensors and other industrial devices to ensure flawless connectivity and data exchange within the IoT ecosystem.

It would be great if you have the following qualifications

1. A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics ICT or a related field.
2. About three years of work experience is fine.
3. Affinity with software development is a must.
4. Skill in programming languages relevant to data analytics development (e.g. Python & Typescript).
5. Knowledge of Docker is a plus; as well as familiarity with time-based data (Timescale/Influx). Another plus: Embedded Linux.
6. Knowledge of industry protocols and communication standards
7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
9. You actively follow the latest developments within your field.
10. Dutch is mandatory.
