Your role

As a skilled Industrial IoT Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and integrating IoT solutions tailored to our clients' industrial realities. Your expertise in industrial IoT software frameworks, PLC’s, machine sensors, and related technologies will be apparent when you set up cutting-edge IoT solution frameworks using vintecc-developed software, such as capture & interact, and effortlessly weave them into our clients' environments.

Your responsibilities

1. Using your expertise in Industrial IoT software frameworks to design comprehensive and scalable solutions tailored to the unique requirements of our clients.
2. Configuring and implementing vintecc-developed software, including capture & interact, to create robust IoT frameworks aligned with client needs.
3. Interfacing with PLC’s, machine sensors, and other industrial devices, ensuring seamless connectivity and data exchange within the IoT ecosystem.
4. Leading the setup and deployment of IoT solution frameworks, considering factors such as data capturing, analysis, dashboarding and real-time acquisition, to meet the client’s specific goals.
5. Collaborating closely with clients to understand their industrial processes, requirements, and challenges, and tailoring IoT solutions to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
6. Taking a hands-on approach to prototype and test IoT solutions, ensuring reliability, security, and optimal performance in diverse industrial settings.
7. Creating detailed technical documentation for IoT solutions, including specifications, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
8. Providing training and ongoing support to clients, ensuring effective use and maintenance of implemented IoT frameworks.
9. Staying updated on the latest developments in IoT technologies and contributing insights for the continuous improvement of vintecc's Industrial IoT solutions.

It would be great if you have the following qualifications

1. A bachelor's or master's in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in designing and implementing Industrial IoT solutions, with a focus on software frameworks, PLCs, and machine sensors.
3. Proficiency in programming languages relevant to IoT development (e.g. C#, JavaScript) and database technologies (e.g. Influx, SQL).
4. Strong understanding of industrial protocols and communication standards.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

It would be even better if...

1. You have experience with edge computing and deploying IoT solutions in resource-constrained environments.
2. You have knowledge of cybersecurity principles in an Industrial IoT context.
3. You’re familiar with cloud-based services for IoT data analytics and storage.
